Woodlands homeowners find juvenile burglar napping in their cabin

Woodlands Police are searching for a female juvenile suspected of breaking into the Beera family home at 126 Forest Blvd., damaging property and stealing food in a curious incident coming at a time of spiking home burglaries.

Upon returning from berry picking, Pater Beera, Mater Beera and their son Babie Beera found their door ajar, Babie’s chair broken and his porridge bowl licked clean. They surprised the intruder sleeping in Babie’s bed, but she fled before they could ask questions.

A tearful Babie Beera said: “What did I ever do to deserve this? She stole my food and broke my stool. I don’t think I could ever sleep in that bed again!”

Pater Beera agreed: “We feel so violated. Honestly, I don’t know what this neighborhood is coming to. We used to be able to go out without locking doors, but now even kids have turned criminal. Where can you live if you’re not safe in the forest?”

Mater Beera was thankful that the family was safe, saying that broken furniture and lost porridge didn’t matter as long as they were all together. She also expressed sympathy for the intruder, opining that the juvenile was likely a hungry orphan whose desperation exposed society’s neglect of our youngsters.

Police Department officials say the juvenile is four feet tall with long, curly golden hair. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
